1:1 Follow-ups

Review follow-ups

Unresolved follow-ups surface on Today so you can unblock your team before the next 1:1.

The problem

Commitments from 1:1s end up in notes or spreadsheets. You forget to follow up; your report is blocked and you don’t know. Trust and velocity take a hit.

Mid-Manager puts follow-ups in one place and ranks them so you see what needs your attention first — no digging, no dropped balls.

What you see

When someone has open follow-ups that are overdue or due soon, a card appears on Today. It shows who, what, and when. You see it next to your other priorities so you can choose to act now or later.

What to do

Open the card to go to Team Actions or the 1:1. Resolve the item, add a note, or slot the next check-in. One place for prep and follow-through — no scattered tools.

Example

Alex had an action from last Tuesday: “Decide on scope for the API refactor.” It’s still open. Today shows “1:1 follow-up — Alex.” You open it, leave a short note, and mark it done. At your next 1:1 you’re prepared and Alex isn’t left waiting. Outcome: fewer dropped commitments and faster unblocks.
