Goals

View goal status

When a goal drifts off track, Mid-Manager surfaces it so you can refocus before it compounds.

The problem

Goals get set at quarter start; then work drifts. Without a single view of progress, you find out too late that a key goal is at risk.

Mid-Manager ties goals to your daily view so you see drift early and can realign when it still matters.

What you see

A “Goals drifting off track” card appears when progress is stale, scope has crept, or the goal is flagged at risk. The card points you to the goal and the reason (e.g. no update in 2 weeks). You see it next to 1:1s and delivery so you can prioritize.

What to do

Open Goals from the card. Update progress, add a check-in note, or realign with the owner in a 1:1. One place for goals and 1:1s keeps the team aligned and cuts surprise at review time.

Example

Q1 launch readiness is 60% but hasn’t been updated in three weeks. Today shows “Goal off track — Q1 launch.” You open Goals, see the gap, and add a 15-minute sync to the next 1:1 with the goal owner. You course-correct in the quarter instead of in the post-mortem. Outcome: realignment when it counts; goals and delivery stay connected.
